How Microfinance Bank Transforms Opportunities for Women
Microfinance, as the name suggests, is a small amount of money that is given as credit/loan to people who are earning a low income in rural areas. In India, microfinance helps women by supporting them to start or grow their small businesses, allowing them to increase their income and become financially independent. Chaitanya is a Microfinance Institution that focuses on empowering women in rural areas with financial services for those who don’t have access to formal banking facilities.
We Provide
We Provide
As a Microfinance company in India, our primary focus is to empower women in rural areas. We provide group loans by forming JLGs (Joint liability groups). We provide financial support to help them start their small business. After creating JLGs, we provide group training, conduct quality checks, and then disburse the group loan amount.
Retail Loans
Retail Loans
Chaitanya provides retail loans to women, which is like an individual loan that can be borrowed for personal, household, or for business purposes. Because group loans do not work after some amount, we offer retail loans to women who want to borrow a higher amount of credit for various purposes.
The Process Behind Microfinance Lending
The Process Behind Microfinance Lending
Many rural parts of our country may not have proper baking systems, and Chaitanya aims to bring financial services to these underprivileged communities. We provide micro finance lending in Odisha by forming a Joint Liability Group. Here, we offer various training to our potential clients about financial products. We conduct a profile check to see if they have borrowed any loans and have repaid them in time. Next, we disburse the small loan and collect it on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
