How Microfinance Opens Doors to Women’s Growth and Success
Women in rural areas usually depend on family members for financial matters in the household. These women come from a poor family background and have no access to proper banking systems. Chaitanya is a microfinance bank in Gujarat that helps women overcome their financial problems by supporting their small businesses. We do this by offering micro credits in various forms like group loans and retail lending. These financial products help them fund their businesses and gain a stable income.
We Offer
Group Lending
In group lending, a group of women can avail loans of up to ₹1,50,000 with a tenure of 36 months. Our process of offering group loans starts with forming Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). Then we provide group training for the members and run a quality check, after which the loan is disbursed and collected biweekly, weekly, or monthly.
Retail Loans
Our microfinance company in India, Chaitanya, provides retail loans to customers who want a larger amount of credit. Since the group lending method does not work for this reason, we provide retail loans ranging from 1 to 5 lakhs with monthly EMIs. These individual retail loans are used for personal, household, or business purposes.
How the Microfinance Lending Process Works
Chaitanya focuses on offering micro-loans to women in rural parts of India to help them get a stable income source. We offer support to their small businesses and household expenses by offering loans with flexible repayment time. We provide micro financing in Gujarat by forming a JLG (Joint Liability Group), where women can borrow a certain amount of money as a group and repay it in various installments. We also offer retail loans with a higher credit amount.
