Empowering Women and Creating Opportunities Through Microfinance Banks
Microfinance is one of the financial services that are provided by Microfinance institutions (MFIs). Chaitanya, as a microfinance bank in Maharashtra provides a variety of financial services to low-income families in rural areas that do not have access to proper banking services. Our primary focus is on improving the lives of women who live in these rural communities by providing micro-loans. We offer group loans and retail loans that help fund their small businesses.
We Offer
Our financial services include group lending, where we form Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) with more than 8 members who will be trained on various financial aspects. After we conduct a quality check of the members in the JLGs, we disburse the loans, which will then be repaid by each member.
Retail Loans
We provide retail loans because the group lending model might not always work. Retail loans are provided to lower middle class or middle class families to help them improve their financial situation. This loan can be used to fund their business or for their personal and household use that will improve their lives.
